DAVID M. ALBA EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

As an organizational development consultant for over 15 years I have had the privilege to work with prestigious clients in national and international locales. Helping organizations achieve their goals has been satisfying. In my private life I have served as a volunteer working with students helping them make positive life choices. This work has been even more fulfilling. When the opportunity to direct the Clarion Council for Educational Greatness presented itself I realized that this would allow me to combine my work experience with my passion for helping students. The opportunity to help positively shape tomorrow’s generation of Americans was too compelling and too high of a calling to miss.

I recognize the power and influence that the school has in the formative years of America’s children – power and influence too important to do anything other than support schools in striving for greatness. I have seen first hand the role that character

plays in the choices that students make. Now I have the opportunity to oversee an organization devoted to bringing character education to schools with the goal of forging character driven citizens of tomorrow. I know first hand the power of organizations with performance driven cultures and through Clarion I will have the opportunity to reward high performing educators who are making a difference in classrooms every day.

I have taught leadership skills in organizations around the world and have seen how positive leadership produces powerful results. Through the Clarion Council I will have the opportunity to directly impact tomorrow’s leaders by supporting leadership development today, for students, educators and parents. “Now this is something to get excited about."

I invite you and others to be part of this calling to support educational greatness in America.
